Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab Location: Saint Mary’s Regional Health System – Russellville, AR Type: Travel Assignment

Overview

Saint Mary’s Regional Health System in Russellville, AR is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation, supporting recovery, functional improvement, and safe transitions of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Rehabilitation unit
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor progress, and document care accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Support patients in achieving independence through therapeutic interventions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas (or compact license eligible)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent rehab or medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems; Meditech experience preferred
• Required Education: Associates of Nursing

Assignment Details

 

• Contract length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Nights)
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required
