Transportation Operations Specialist (Contract: 1-4 Months)
Looking for an opportunity to make an impact in supply chain operations? Join us for a short-term contract role focused on transportation performance and data-driven insights.
What you'll do:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with five transportation carriers, ensuring accountability and smooth execution.
• Collaborate with distribution and retail partners to confirm carriers meet equipment and service expectations.
• Monitor carrier tracking feeds accurate data flow into internal systems, supporting performance analysis.
• Track forecast accuracy and carrier KPIs, identify trends, and escalate concerns during peak periods.
• Deliver proactive reporting and recommendations to leadership for successful execution.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations are highly valued.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with carrier/vendor management practices and solid business judgment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven success working cross-functionally.
• Curious, adaptable, and proactive in driving continuous improvement.
• Technical expertise: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel and experience with Tableau or Sigma (required).

Pay Details: $34.00 to $40.00 per hour
