American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Columbia, SC, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab/EP experience and an active SC or Compact RN license.

- Work setting is an acute care hospital Cath Lab unit (304 staffed beds) \n
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM \n
- Patient ratio is 1:1 \n
- On-call is required: one full weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs \n
- No floating to other service lines or sister facilities \n
- Charting is done in Epic \n
- Hospital-issued scrubs are provided for the Cath Lab \n
- \n
- Active SC RN license or Compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must have the license active before starting \n
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS \n
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP nursing experience required \n
- A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the candidate's agency prior to start — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers \n
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are accepted for this position \n
- Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any MUSC facility must have been separated from the MUSC system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler \n
- Non-local candidates are prioritized; local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs \n
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date \n
- This is a 13-week contract \n
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane months are August and September \n
- Parking is available at no cost; note that parking garages have clearance limitations for larger vehicles such as trucks and oversized SUVs \n
