Job Description

King’s Mountain Animal Clinic, located in Collinsville, Virginia, is actively seeking a Veterinarian\nto join our three other veterinarians in a well-established, well-equipped small animal GP hospital located in the heart of Collinsville (just outside of\nMartinsville, V,A and about 1 hour north of Greensboro, NC). Enjoy advancing your skills\nin diagnostics, surgery and patient care while delivering quality compassionate\ncare.  We will provide a mentoring atmosphere, and we welcome new graduates. 


  • Open to New Grads -- strong Mentorship Program!!
  • Generous Sign-On Bonus of $20,000***
  • $100,000--$130,000 Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)

About the Hospital:

  • We do not have after-hours emergency,\nbut still provide emergency service during regular business hours if\nneeded. 
  • We have a hardworking, seasoned,\ncompassionate support staff with most being at the hospital for 16 years or\nmore.  Our support staff is knowledgeable and is a valuable asset to\nthe veterinarians.  They are the backbone of the exceptional care we\nprovide to our patients. 


About Collinsville,\nVirginia

We are located in the beautiful\nsouthern Piedmont section of the state.  We are only 18 miles from\nthe North Carolina state line, 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway,  and 4 hours to the coast. Our location offers\na bounty of outdoor activities. We are just 2 miles from a trout stream, about\n15 minutes from Philpott Lake, and about 25 minutes from Fairystone State\nPark.  We have abundant walking and hiking trails throughout the\narea.  We are only 35 miles from Smith Mountain Lake where there are\n500 miles of shoreline to explore.
