Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

Details\n

\n
• Day/night rotation schedule, 36 hours per week
\n
• Critical care setting with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
\n
• Cares for ventilated patients requiring pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
\n
• Performs arterial line management as well as line, tube, and drain care for post-surgical patients
\n
• PA line placement support and waveform interpretation
\n
• ICP monitoring including ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NH or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
\n
• Arterial line experience required
\n
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
\n
• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
\n
• Preferred experience includes advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring (SICU/NCCU), and assist with line insertion and maintenance
