Emergency Department

Full Time - 72 Hours per pay period. 7p - 7a. 3-12 Hour Shifts. Every other weekend with rotating holidays.

The job opening is for a full-time 72-hour position for a C.N.A. in the Emergency Department, with the requirement of C.N.A. certification and strong customer service skills. The main duty of the position is to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, with additional responsibilities including collecting specimens, answering patient call signals, and assisting with feeding, dressing, and grooming patients. The C.N.A. is also expected to communicate with patients, measure vital signs, and assist in the operation of medical equipment. Other tasks include transporting patients, cleaning and sanitizing patient areas, repositioning bedridden patients, and providing information to visitors or callers.
