Assembly - Now Hiring

Thermo Fisher, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Assembly to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly

Location: Asheville, NC

Pay Range: $18

Shift: First Shift 

What's the Job?

• Follow all safety procedures and perform duties using required safety equipment according to company policies and practices.
• Review work orders for product specifications and requirements.
• Visually inspect components and completed units during assembly for quality and accuracy.
• Select and assemble parts and components in proper sequence by drilling holes, adding rivets, screws, braces, tape, etc., to meet specifications.
• Apply wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components in cabinets as per specifications.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Beginner computer skills or willingness to learn.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated product assembly.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints is preferred.
