About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in Denver seeking a dedicated Worker’s Compensation Specialist. This hybrid role supports a collaborative HR department with a strong focus on workers’ compensation case management. The team environment is stable, supportive, and offers long-term project continuity.
Job Description:
This position is heavily focused on managing workers’ compensation claims from initial report through resolution. The role involves frequent communication with employees, managers, and claims partners, ensuring compliance and timely updates. While responsibilities are primarily workers’ comp–related, the role includes light administrative duties such as scanning departmental mail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track workers’ compensation claims from start to finish.
- Serve as a primary contact for employees, supervisors, and claims adjusters.
- Collect necessary information and documentation for claim processing.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
- Communicate updates, return-to-work details, and next steps to stakeholders.
- Handle minor administrative tasks, including scanning and uploading documents weekly.
- Collaborate with HR team members on related compliance matters when needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in HR or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience with worker's compensation.
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and general HR compliance guidelines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Details:
- Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days in office per week.
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with some flexibility.
- Role is an indefinite contract (1+ year) with potential for future conversion.
