Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a local manufacturing team in Sumter. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, able to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately, and experienced in operating forklifts and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan and execute fabrication projects.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using hand and power tools.
• Operate forklifts, other material-handling equipment safely.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
• Fabrication and metal layout experience required.
• Forklift operation experience (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
