Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will apply advanced machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to large datasets, helping us better understand our customers and communities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advanced analytics models to derive value from large-scale datasets.
• Conduct experiments and develop predictive models to address complex business challenges.
• Research and apply cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning, and AI methodologies.
• Develop and refine algorithms for training and evolving machine learning models.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to influence product development and strategy.
• Promote best practices in analytics and data utilization across teams.
• Manage the end-to-end model development process, including requirement gathering, data sourcing, model building, result presentation, and production implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data science initiatives and improve analytical capabilities.
• Ensure the organization’s data infrastructure supports robust analytics and reporting.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data science and machine learning.
• Strong proficiency with machine learning tools such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and caret.• Expertise in predictive modeling and statistical methodologies, including linear regression and Bayesian inference.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, as well as cloud-based machine learning platforms like AWS SageMaker.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking with a focus on actionable outcomes.
• Preferred background in financial services and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
