CHAPLAIN (Exempt)

Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Type: Part Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, On-call availability required

The Chaplain at Millwood provides compassionate pastoral care to Team Members and their families, offering support during times of stress, grief, trauma, and spiritual uncertainty. This role promotes spiritual wellness through Christian principles while respecting diverse denominational backgrounds. The Chaplain leads worship services, offers counseling, and supports faith-based initiatives aligned with Millwood’s values.

• Provide crisis intervention and spiritual support during traumatic events
• Lead prayers, worship services, and faith-based activities
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to support company initiatives
• Offer counseling and spiritual guidance to Team Members
• Manage and maintain designated worship and chaplaincy spaces
• Represent Christian faith principles while respecting all denominations
• Support operational needs when practical
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – verbal, written, and reading proficiency
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of the Bible and Christian principles
• Ability to work with diverse populations with empathy and tolerance
• Time management and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year of chaplain experience (administrative experience is a plus)

• May include variable terrain, noise levels, and weather conditions
• Occasional use of PPE (gloves, eye/hearing protection)
• Physical activity includes sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, and crouching

Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Huntsville, AL before starting work.
