What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain heavy and light equipment: dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, excavators, sewer cleaning equipment, and more.
• Excavate trenches, repair water/sewer lines, and maintain utility systems.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Work safely in public areas and assist other Public Works tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license; able to obtain Texas Class A CDL within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of equipment operation experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work in all weather, and respond to on-call emergencies.

Preferred: TCEQ Class C Water Distribution or Wastewater Collection II license.
