Job Description
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized role is available for an experienced professional skilled in Cardiac Cath Lab imaging techniques to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This position focuses on assisting cardiologists and imaging teams in performing timely, accurate imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RCIS or CVT certification is required.
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
- Proven ability to exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced cardiac imaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, Chief Technologists, and Imaging Directors to facilitate high-quality cardiac imaging procedures.
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Assist in patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care under supervision.
- Complete all studies accurately and promptly in compliance with departmental protocols.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of procedures performed.
