The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following;
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Hiring, training & development of employees
- Supervising & directing the activities of employees
- Scheduling
- Controlling expenses while maintaining stock levels & inventory
- Maximizing sales & profitability
