Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a PreK through Elementary caseload for the upcoming contract school year. This position offers the opportunity to work within an elementary school environment located in Waldoboro, ME, providing critical speech and language therapy services to young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students from PreK to Elementary grades.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals within the educational setting.
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-age children, ideally within an elementary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessments, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Commitment to a full-time contract for the school year.
