Hospital PACU Nurse | Florissant, Missouri

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing. You will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and fort during the critical post-operative period. This role requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and strong munication skills to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Manage pain control and vital signs to promote safe recovery
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other care providers to optimize patient outes
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with PACU experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of postoperative care protocols and emergency procedures
• Excellent munication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
