Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process
\n
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor using fetal heart monitoring techniques
\n
• Operate independently as the sole L&D nurse on shift, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and autonomy
\n
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate care as needed
\n
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with facility standards
\n

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
\n
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\n
• Experience in OB/Labor & Delivery nursing
\n
• Ability and comfort level working independently as the only L&D nurse on shift
\n

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

\n
• Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
\n
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
\n
