Knowledge of Google Classroom and digital instructional tools.
Strong understanding of Common Core standards and research-based instructional practices.

Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and child-centered instructional decision-making.
Skill in differentiating instruction for diverse learners and learning styles.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Summary:
The Special Education Teacher provides instructional services to students with disabilities in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role involves developing goals, implementing differentiated instruction, and adapting curriculum to meet diverse learner needs across co-teaching, push-in, resource, and self-contained settings. The teacher collaborates with general educators, related service providers, and administrators to ensure effective delivery of special education supports and compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction adapted for student needs and learning styles.
Provide instructional support in co-taught, resource, push-in, or self-contained environments.
Assess student learning and modify instruction based on data and observations.
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers on best practices.
Maintain consistent communication with parents, staff, and administrators regarding progress.
Utilize Google Classroom and other digital platforms to support instruction.
