🌟 What You’ll DoAs our Business Development Manager, you will:
Lead the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies for recyclable commodities including paper, plastics, steel, aluminum, and glass
- Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international buyers and business partners
- Build and maintain relationships with all surrounding municipalities
Oversee all logistics planning related to transportation and port operations
Research, develop, and optimize new sources of market opportunities
Negotiate contracts and pricing strategies that maximize value and profitability
Coordinate closely with Corporate, Production, and Hauling divisions to ensure alignment
Drive year-over-year growth goals and performance benchmarks
Standardize processes and improve efficiencies across the marketing and commodity sales function
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commodity markets
Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared goals
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and leadership:
Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, finance, engineering, transportation, operations, or related fields
Experience negotiating complex contracts across multiple spend categories
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting
Professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, Six Sigma, Lean)
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in:
MS Office (advanced Excel, macros, formulas)
AMCS/Elemos, CieTrade, SofPak, or related systems
Logistics and port operations
Inventory and weights/measures standards

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (additional hours as needed)
