JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Field Workers to support daily operations on-site. Field Workers will perform a variety of physical tasks outdoors, including manual labor, equipment handling, and maintenance. The ideal candidate is physically fit, follows safety procedures, and can work in all weather conditions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, planting, lifting, or carrying materials.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment (e.g., hand tools, machinery).
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site.
- Record and report daily work activities, issues, or safety hazards.
- Adhere to company safety standards and protocols.
- Assist in setting up and teardown of work areas or temporary structures as needed.
- Transport materials or tools to and from the site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in field labor or similar roles is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery (ATVs, utility vehicles, small hand tools, etc.).
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength; ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to navigate rough, uneven terrain.
- Ability to handle physically demanding work and exposure to outdoor elements.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and effective project management capabilities.

- Must maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check, security clearance, and pre-employment alcohol and drug screenings.
- Familiarity with the Tribes Constitution, laws, and culture is preferred, but not required.

In accordance with applicable Tribal law and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (PRCI) Administration provides employment preference to enrolled PRCI Tribal Members. To qualify, applicants must submit valid proof of enrollment. Tribal Members who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference in hiring, promotion, transfer, and layoff decisions. During the interview process, PRCI Tribal Members will receive an additional 7.5 points (10% of the 75-point interview rubric). Non-PRCI Native American candidates will receive an additional 5 points (6.7% of the total points) in accordance with Indian Preference guidelines.
INDIAN PREFERENCE STATEMENT:
In compliance with 25 CFR Part 276 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Sections 701(b) and 703(i), employment preference shall be given to qualified applicants who are enrolled members of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, and secondarily, to another qualified American Indian/Alaska Native Candidate.
