American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a general ultrasound position requiring RVT and ARDMS (AB or OB) credentials and vascular ultrasound experience.

- Hospital-based ultrasound department within a 100-bed community facility \n
- Performs general ultrasound exams including vascular studies \n
- Equipment includes 2 GE Logic E10 and 2 Samsung WS80A ultrasound machines \n
- 8-hour evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week \n
- Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block schedules \n
- On-call rotation for weekends only, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM every 4th-5th weekend \n
- Floating and charge responsibilities are not required \n
- Chaperone provided for male technicians performing transvaginal OB studies \n

- RVT and ARDMS (AB or OB) credentials required \n
- Minimum of 2 years of unit experience required \n
- Vascular ultrasound experience required \n
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Must be flexible with scheduling \n

- Department employs 40+ staff across various imaging modalities \n
- Performs routine ultrasound exams typical of a community-based hospital setting \n
- Scrubs in any color permitted, closed non-skid shoes required, minimal jewelry, and no artificial nails \n
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained \n
- Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for consideration \n
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area, so reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended \n
- All-season or snow tires recommended for vehicles during November through April \n
- Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays \n
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position \n
