Summary:
\nManages the nursing services and staff for a department; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards.
\nResponsibilities:
\n• Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
\n • Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
\n • Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
\n • Overseeing performance of teams; identifying and addressing staff training and development needs
\n • Apprising medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies
\n Standard I: Financial Management
\n • Recognizes the impact of reimbursement on revenue
\n • Understands the relationship between values-based purchasing and quality outcomes with revenue and reimbursement
\n • Creates, monitors, and analyzes a budget; explaining variance

Requirements:
\n- \n
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. \n
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related advanced degree in health health-related field preferred. \n
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership. \n
- RN license in good standing in the state of employment or a compact state, if applicable. \n
- Registered Nurse (RN) required. \n
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support. \n
