Patient Access Representative

*Description*

* Greet and Register Patients
* Check patient eligibility, secure necessary pre-admission approvals
* Clearly explain hospital policies, admission processes, room options, co-payments, and other services available.
* Prepare admission folders, obtain patient signatures on consent and legal forms, issue ID bands, coordinate bed assignments, and notify clinical units of patient arrival.
* Collaborate with Staff
*Skills & Qualifications*

* Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including handling stressful situations with tact and empathy.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance/billing procedures, patient rights, and regulatory standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Napa, CA.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
