Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY, requiring a minimum of 5 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

• 12-hour day shifts in an ICU/CCU setting
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Floating to Med/Surg and Telemetry units required when needed
\n
• Epic EMR — experience required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NY RN license required
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS (both AHA) required — must be uploaded with profile
\n
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
\n
• Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Epic EMR proficiency required
\n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
\n
• Must have a personal vehicle
\n
• 1–2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment required for consideration
\n
• Current skills checklist (pertinent to the position, within the past year) required for consideration
\n
• NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for consideration
\n
• A 14-panel drug screen (negative result) required upon offer acceptance
\n

• Candidates with a permanent address in the following NY counties are not eligible for this travel assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
\n
• All new and returning agency staff must complete verbal de-escalation training through Welle (welletraining.com) or CPI (crisisprevention.com) prior to onboarding
\n
• RTO must be noted at time of profile submission — requests submitted after upload will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
\n
• Scrub dress code: personal scrubs of any color, no designs or cartoons, no hoodies
\n
• No scheduling accommodations can be made — candidates requiring them should not apply
