Job Description\nAmerican Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and required certifications for a rotating day/night position in an acute care setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n- Work in an acute care hospital setting in the CT/Rad Tech unit
- Patient population includes emergency department, inpatient floors, CCU, OR, PACU, and outpatient areas
- Responsibilities include performing X-rays and CT scans in various departments and portable imaging throughout the hospital
- Specialized procedures may include C-arm and intraoperative imaging
- Equipment used includes GE Proteus and P500 X-ray rooms, Konica DR, CT Canon Aquilion SP, Medrad contrast injector, GE OEC Carm Elite, and GE AMX 240 Portable X-ray
- Charting is done using Epic Radiant EMR and Sectra PACS
- Schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with day/night rotation and 1 in 4 weekends; approximately 60% overnight and 40% daytime shifts
- Floating to OR, ER, portable X-ray, inpatient, and outpatient areas is required
- Gray scrubs are required
- Returning employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
- All clinicians must badge in and out
- Assignment is open to local candidates, but those within 80 miles may be subject to pay adjustments
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech in CT and X-ray
- Current ARRT and BLS certification required
- ARRT CT certification preferred if available, but CT experience is required
- Current MN state license required if applicable
- Experience with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS preferred
