Primary Caregiver/FSW

• Assist in developing and educating each Child Development Services child to their fullest potential by assisting children with self-help skills, focusing on building positive relationships with the children and families, and using an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum, which promotes routines, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Provide day-to-day care for infant and toddler classroom.
• Assist the children & families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment and provision of individual services in accordance with Child Development Services Performance Standards, licensing regulations and WEST OHIO CAP Policies and Procedures.
• Primary Care Giver/Family Service Workers (FSW) will ensure that all children receive required health and health related services by connecting them to resources, providing follow up support services, and identifying and removing barriers to needed services.
• Must be physically able to actively participate with and supervise children at all times, interacting at child-level on the floor, ensuring a developmentally appropriate classroom.

This position is for 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year.

Candidate must possess a CDA certification.

Valid Ohio drivers license, current vehicle insurance and access to a privately-owned vehicle during scheduled work hours preferred. Ability to check electronic mail, entering data into program specific software for required reports and Internet skills are required.
