Requirements & Qualifications:
At least 5+ years of commercial construction experience is required
OSHA 30
Strong skills in ProCore Management & MS 365 software
Superintendent certification is preferred
Ability to interpret drawings and specs
Knowledge of construction budgeting best practice
Demonstrates good planning skills, including design execution, problem-solving and decision-making, prioritization, time management & organizational skills
Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal setting and conflict management
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, and lifting 50 pounds.
Las Vegas General Contractor is looking for a commercial construction superintendent to oversee the daily construction activities at the project site. Ensuring that the project is completed within the established budget, schedule, and design guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Leads daily morning meetings with crew
Oversees daily operations at the construction site
Follows construction drawings and approved plans
Ensure quality workmanship per plans, spces & company standards
Uses popular construction management software
Orders necessary equipment, tools, and materials
Communicate with senior management regarding timelines and budgets, help to set and stick to the budget and schedule
Coordinating/scheduling subcontractors and all other parties involved in the project
Maintains safe and clean jobsite
Writes daily logs and other necessary documentation
Makes sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed
Ensures that all OSHA guidelines are followed in every aspect of construction
Works directly with the General Superintendent, subcontractors and Inspectors
Call for inspections
Understanding of all subcontracts
Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues
