Fabrication Supervisor

A leader in the design and manufacture of industrial material processing equipment, custom-engineered conveyors, and structural support systems is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced fabrication and assembly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to production goals.

-Provide direct leadership to fabrication teams, ensuring high-quality output across all manufacturing processes.

-Oversee the setup, programming, and operation of metal processing equipment, including band saws, CNC plasma tables, press brakes, and turret punches.

-Review engineering prints to determine fabrication sequence, resource allocation, and process flow.

-Support machine assembly operations, assisting with complex builds and final equipment testing as needed.

-Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.

-Coordinate workflow between departments to optimize production and material handling.

-Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to enhance skill levels and maintain consistent quality standards.

-Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Key Requirements:

-Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.

-Proficiency with CNC-controlled fabrication equipment including plasma tables, press brakes, and turret punches.

-Strong understanding of MIG welding processes (1/8' to 1' mild steel).

-Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and fabrication drawings.

-Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment.

-Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven production setting.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing supervisory role.

-Background in steel fabrication, industrial equipment assembly, or related field preferred.

-Technical training or certification in welding, machining, or manufacturing processes a plus.

-Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
