  • Support building automation and energy management systems.

Plumbing Duties (Primary Need)

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including potable water, sewer, hydronic, and steam systems.
  • Perform advanced pipefitting, brazing, soldering, and mechanical joint work.
  • Diagnose leaks, pressure failures, drain issues, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Install/maintain pumps, water heaters, valves, regulators, and fixtures.
  • Work with large-diameter piping, backflow devices, and commercial-grade plumbing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes.

General Facility Engineering

  • Respond to service requests, emergencies, and system outages.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work orders via CMMS.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on upgrades and projects.
  • Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, confined space, and hazard reporting.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of combined HVAC and plumbing experience in commercial/industrial environments.
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical schematics, and engineering documents.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and mechanical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in a federal facility.

Preferred

  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license (highly preferred).
  • HVAC Journeyman/Master License or equivalent technical training.
  • Backflow Prevention Certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent).
  • Experience in federal, industrial, or secure-site operations.
  • Welding, pipefitting, or mechanical certification(s).
