Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with high school students (grades 912) at a school located in Yreka, CA. This contract position offers a chance to support adolescent learners in developing vital communication skills during the school year. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License is required
- Experience working with high school-aged students is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details:
- Location: Yreka, CA
- Contract position running until the end of the school year
- Hours: 30 hours per week over 5 days
- Pay rate: $50+ per hour
