Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, serving students in grades 6 through 12. This role is based in Inkom, ID, working primarily with middle and high school students to support their speech and language development within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of students in grades 6-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with educational guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
• Experience working in school settings serving middle and high school students.
• Familiarity with voice therapy (VOCO) is a plus.
• Ability to work 2 days per week during the ESY contract period.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

This is a contract position starting as soon as possible and continuing through the ESY period. The role offers a focused schedule of two days per week, ideal for professionals seeking a part-time opportunity within the school system.
