Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support speech and language development for middle and high school students in an educational setting. The role involves working with a caseload of students from grades 6 through 12, providing speech-language pathology services during the Extended School Year (ESY) period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across grades 6-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student needs and feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC preferred).
- Experience working in schools or with school-aged children.
- Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders.
- Comfortable with voice-output communication devices (VOCO).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Located in Arimo, Idaho.
- Middle school environment.
- Part-time, 2 days per week.
- Contract position starting ASAP through the ESY period.
