Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Littleton, CO is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students throughout the academic year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, contributing to the success and development of children across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans for students K-12.
- Implement evidence-based interventions focusing on pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
- Provide supervision if you are a CCC-certified SLP or receive supervision if pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) where applicable, working alongside licensed SLPs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or enrollment in CFY.
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Ability to engage effectively with children and educational professionals.
- Willingness to work full-time, full-year on-site.
- Candidates with SLPA credentials are considered if paired with an SLP.
