Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our acute care rehabilitation team. This position is essential for providing high-quality therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in EMR (EPIC).
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Provide patient education and counseling to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call required.
- Floating within the hospital and scope of practice may be required.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist is required.
- Locals and first-time travelers are accepted.
- Block scheduling is permitted from Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
