Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Conduct various quality tests using specialized equipment and document results accurately.
• Identify, document, and quarantine non-conforming materials or products.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities, test results, and quality data.
• Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspection and test equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control measures and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Foundational understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
• Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections and documenting results.
• Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for non-conformances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with internal quality audits.
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
