Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Conduct various quality tests using specialized equipment and document results accurately.
- Identify, document, and quarantine non-conforming materials or products.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities, test results, and quality data.
- Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspection and test equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control measures and improve processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Foundational understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
- Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections and documenting results.
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for non-conformances.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with internal quality audits.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
