The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, incorporating production volumes and cost drivers.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of actual vs. budget/forecast for production costs, COGS, labor, and overheads.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including standard costing, bill of materials, and production variances, to identify efficiency improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing operations and executive leadership.
- Conduct financial analysis for capital expenditure projects, evaluating ROI, payback period, and strategic alignment for plant investments.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turns, and valuation, identifying potential risks or opportunities related to production and demand.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial data extraction and analysis.
- Ability to analyze operational data and manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify cost efficiencies.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting manufacturing financial performance.

- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor)
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing environments
