Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Pewaukee, WI. This contract role spans the 2023-2024 school year, starting Thanksgiving through to the end of the school year (approximately May 29, 2026). The caseload will consist of around 30 students, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment to support children's communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans for K-5 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to enhance educational outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports on student performance.
- Support a diverse range of speech, language, and related communication disorders.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field.
- Wisconsin state licensure as an SLP.
- Wisconsin teaching certification.
- Eligibility to work as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) is welcome.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full time, 32 hours per week.
- School setting with students in grades K through 5.
- Located in Pewaukee, WI.
