Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in a retail pharmacy setting. The role is based in Bronx, NY, with ongoing needs to cover all operating days (Monday through Saturday), offering flexible scheduling with potential for a more permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage billing processes and ensure proper reimbursements
• Utilize MicroMerchant software for pharmacy operations
• Support day-to-day pharmacy functions beyond prescription filling

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid NY State Pharmacist License in good standing (no negatives)
• Proven experience in independent retail pharmacy environments, excluding large chain pharmacies
• Demonstrated expertise with MicroMerchant system
• Strong knowledge of billing and reimbursement procedures
• Local candidates preferred due to coverage requirements across the five boroughs

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Sundays closed
