Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract role begins after Thanksgiving and continues through the end of the school year (approximately May 29, 2026). The caseload includes around 30 students, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-5th grade students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student goals, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional development activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Valid Wisconsin license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Wisconsin Teaching Certification
- Eligibility for or completion of Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with elementary-aged children
