Per Diem Pharmacist in New York, NY

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist with expertise in independent community pharmacy settings. This Per Diem position requires experience with MicroMerchant systems, including pharmacy operations such as billing, reimbursements, and prescription verification. Candidates must have recent retail pharmacy experience and be comfortable supporting multiple locations across the five boroughs.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and verifying prescriptions accurately
• Managing billing and reimbursement procedures using MicroMerchant software
• Providing excellent customer service in an independent pharmacy environment
• Supporting ongoing operational needs across several retail locations

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License in good standing (no disciplinary actions)
• Proven experience working in independent retail pharmacies; big-box retail experience is not applicable
• Hands-on MicroMerchant system experience with billing and reimbursements
• Ability to work any day Monday through Saturday; Sunday closure observed
• Local candidates preferred due to travel requirements within New York City boroughs

Schedule:

• 1st Shift, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Sunday off
