Data Center Engineer

ComResource is looking for a Data Center Engineer.

We need someone to assist in maintaining data center infrastructure, supporting hardware and software operations, and ensuring high system availability.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain servers, storage, networking hardware, and facility infrastructure
• Install, configure, and decommission data center equipment
• Conduct facility inspections and manage work queues
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed
• Document system configurations and operational processes
• Mentor data center staff and lead small to medium projects
• Design and implement new enterprise technologies and facility improvements
• Support R&D efforts for hardware, software, and capacity planning

Essentials:

• Experience supporting Cisco UCS and VMware vSphere
• Knowledge of Windows Server, networking, SAN, and monitoring tools
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects
• 3+ years of enterprise IT operations experience

Desired:

• Experience with SolarWinds, Nlyte, and ServiceNow
• IT certifications and related technical training
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
