About who needs care: My son has Down syndrome. He is 29, 5 feet 1" approximately. He is nonverbal, but understands instructions. He needs assistance with basic needs like brushing teeth, bathing, and preparing meals. About the care needs: It will be ideal to have someone with experience caring for yound adults with developmental disabilities like downs syndrome or autism, etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
