Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
A leading manufacturer in Valparaiso, Indiana is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their team. This position plays a key role in analyzing cost data, preparing financial reports, and driving operational insights to support profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and cost reporting.

Conduct detailed variance and margin analysis to identify trends and improve financial performance.

Extract, analyze, and maintain inventory and pricing reports within SAP.

Prepare and present accurate financial and cost reports to management, supporting strategic decisions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Minimum 4+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel reporting skills.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
