Mixing Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, in McCook NE, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mixing Operator to join their team. As Mixing Operator, you will be part of the Production Department, supporting rubber compound operations for hose extrusion. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Mixing Operator
Location: McCook NE
Pay Range: $19.34/hr with Shift Deferential of $1.25/hr

What's the job?

• Operate mixers to produce batches of rubber compound according to specifications.
• Load raw materials and monitor equipment, temperatures, and cycle times.
• Use material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) to move and prepare materials.
• Perform cleanouts on machinery and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collect samples and perform quality checks at various stages of production.

What's Needed? 

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and work in hot/cold environments.
• Good math, reading, and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
