Job Position: Machine Operator
Location: Asheville, NC 28813
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift:
Days: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Overtime: Available and encouraged on Fridays; voluntary on some Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities:
Inspect machines daily to ensure they meet safety standards.
Operate multiple machines efficiently to maximize production output.
Monitor production quality, following established quality protocols.
Load and unload products into and from machines, ensuring seamless operations.
Record labor activities accurately in the ERP system for tracking.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and productivity.
Pack finished products carefully for shipment.
Provide quantity data through the ERP system to support inventory management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with metal.
