We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Due Diligence Researcher with a focus on UCC Filings for our legal team. This position offers the opportunity to delve deep into the world of legal research and due diligence, providing critical support in our investigative processes. The role demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for uncovering information through meticulous research and investigation. This is a 100% on-site position that requires a candidate with a proven track record in due diligence, public records research, UCC, TLO, Clear, and Accurint.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough due diligence research on a variety of subjects, including individuals, companies, and industries, utilizing public records, UCC filings, and other resources.
2. Utilize proprietary databases such as TLO, Clear, and Accurint to locate and analyze relevant information.
3. Prepare detailed and accurate reports outlining research findings and conclusions.
4. Collaborate with legal team to understand the scope of each research project and tailor research strategies accordingly.
5. Ensure all research activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research techniques, databases, and other tools.
7. Stay abreast of changes in UCC laws and regulations that may affect research processes.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1+ years' experience in due diligence, public records research, UCC, TLO, Clear, and Accurint.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
3. Exceptional research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Proficient in using online databases and other research tools.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey research findings effectively.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
8. Familiarity with legal terminology and principles.
9. Experience in the legal industry is a strong advantage.
10. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
