Position: Security Guard 

Location: Honolulu, HI (Other Locations Subject to Availability)

Pay: $20/hour

Experience: Previous security experience. Must possess a valid ACT-208 State Guard Card or be eligible and willing to obtain one.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. 

Type: Full-time; Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Various Shifts – Must Be Flexible to Swing, Overnight, and Weekend Availability

Job Description:  

• Work calmly, proactively, and professionally in high-stress or emergency situations while maintaining sound judgment.
• Ability to take on multiple responsibilities with efficiency and confidence, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, and first responders.
• Demonstrates a friendly, respectful, and service-oriented demeanor that fosters a welcoming and safe environment for residents and guests.
• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks, including report writing, incident logging, and communication tools.
• Observe situations, document incidents, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Provide clear, detailed, and accurate reports to law enforcement, acting as a reliable witness in any legal follow-up.

Position Requirements:    

• Must possess a valid ACT-208 State Guard Card or be eligible and willing to obtain one.
• Must have dependable transportation to commute to assigned sites and relocate to other properties when necessary.
• Must maintain dependable phone for communication access for scheduling and emergency contact.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly and professionally for effective reporting and communication.
