Stock Clerk

Ace Hardware is looking for stock clerks in our new store opening in Walnutport , PA.  The position requires a flexible work schedule that will include evenings and weekends.  The ideal candidate will be energetic, well spoken and able to work in a fast paced environment.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to stocking shelves, helping customers, cutting keys, running cash register, assembly, and helping customers to their car with purchases.  

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the retail industry
• 14 years or older
• Retail skills: point of sale (POS) operation
• Retail skills: customer service
• Retail skills: restocking
• Warehouse skills: handheld scanner operation
• Warehouse skills: loading and unloading trucks
• Math skills: tracking inventory usage
• Able to work in an environment with high temperatures
• Able to work in an environment with low temperatures
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
• Available to work: late at night
• Willing to travel locally
