Receiving Clerk/ Sales Associate

Ace Hardware is looking for workers to join our team as we open a new store in Walnutport, PA.  This position requires unloading deliveries, verifying shipments, and working with inventory.  Other takes will include stocking shelves, running register, and helping customers.  Candidate must be flexible in work schedule and able to work on their feet and handle lifting product daily.  

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in the retail industry
• 18 years or older
• Retail skills: taking inventory
• Retail skills: restocking
• Retail skills: handling returns
• Retail skills: customer service
• Retail skills: point of sale (POS) operation
• Warehouse skills: loading and unloading trucks
• Warehouse skills: managing inventory records
• Math skills: tracking inventory usage
• Math skills: counting cash drawer
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: weekdays
