Clinical Details

• Provide professional medical services in a correctional facility
• Administer examinations, diagnose medical issues, prescribe medications, and provide treatment and follow-up care
• Perform minor and occasional major surgeries
• Participate in treatment team meetings to devise, review, and alter individual health plans
• Monitor and review operations and standards of care
• Conduct clinical rounds and hold clinics for nursing specialists
• Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Active TN License
• A valid driver's license
• BLS certification
